The Sorana bean is a climbing bean plant which can reach up to 3 /4 meters in height. It’s an example of bio-diversity, most probably the seed originates from the variety White Cannellino. It is a medium/small size bean with an irregular shape, quite flat, the colour is white with  shades of  pearl and it has an extreemly thin skin  which turns pink during cooking. Its  flavour is delicate and very appetizing.The red Sorana bean is made of a bigger and more regular shaped bean. It is a red wine colour with darker stripes, the skin is thicker and the flesh is juicy.
